The funniest 'mobbing' I have ever seen: My wife and I were in Homer AK and looked up to see a bald eagle being harassed by a raven being harassed by a crow.

Another tip for not being dependent on color is to learn about flashmarks - usually white markings that help narrow down th possibilities. i.e. white on corners of American Robin tail tips.
